In fulfilment of the AHWCA Constitution, paragraph 2.5 (which affirms that one of its purposes is

"to conduct and encourage research in areas relating to chaplaincy"), the AHWCA has an appointed

National Research Fellow to consult, conduct and assist with chaplaincy and pastoral care

research. The appointed AHWCA Research Fellow is Dr. Lindsay Carey.
